Innovation is a load bearing pillar of independent workforce. On the front lines of their own revenue generation, independent expert must stay relevant and useful, otherwise they won’t attract project work. They are also in a unique position- they see several sponsors at a time, oftentimes approaching the same business problem in different ways. Observant and innovative independent experts can see where the gaps are, and, due to their expertise, can devise solutions for those gaps.

Such is the case with Wessam Sonbol, a clinical and patient data expert and technologist. Wessam has spent over 20 years dealing with myriad aspects of clinical trial and EMR data, separately and sometimes together, as well as taking multiple deep dives into the patient journey.
