Diversity
Workplace and labor laws in the US are woefully outdated, essentially unchanged for over 90 years. They are restricting innovative working relationships and hampering economic opportunities for both workers and companies. The Coalition for Workforce Innovation is advocating for change. Bringing together diverse stakeholders across various industries such as technology, retail, service industries, etc., the Coalition educates policymakers on the benefits of independent work and supports policy proposals that protect and empower individuals to choose nontraditional work arrangements.

CTW, a “Future of Work” thought leadership community in alignment with the Laboratory for Innovation Science at Harvard, brings together innovative minds from all corners of the economy to discuss and brainstorm various trends in the world of work. Attendees include enterprise hiring managers and procurement- various industries, academia- including professors and researchers from Harvard Business School, Wharton, and Oxford, as well as marketplaces and independent workers.
