Juliette Reiter, Executive Managing Director, Newmark Knight Frank
Juliette Reiter joined the commercial real estate firm Newmark Knight Frank in 2015 as an Executive Managing Director in the company’s Boston office where she provides landlord and tenant leasing advisory services. Juliette is a member of the life sciences team focusing on office and laboratory leasing in the Cambridge, Route 128 West and Suburban markets. Prior to commencing a commercial real estate career in 2001, Juliette was a regional sales manager at the Harpoon Brewery. With a focus on life science tenant representation assignments, Juliette works frequently with early and mid-stage life science and medical device companies as well as on behalf of global pharmaceutical and research organizations. Her scope of experience advising office users includes professional services firms, non-profits, venture capital firms and technology companies. Juliette attended Phillips Exeter Academy and the College of the Holy Cross. Afterwards, she received a Fulbright Scholarship to live and teach in Germany. She currently resides in Medford and enjoys traveling and spending time in Vermont. Kamran Tavangar, COO, Affinivax
Kamran Tavangar has over 25 years of experience in pharmaceuticals and vaccines. Prior to joining Affinivax, Dr. Tavangar was Vice President of Strategic Product Development at Visterra. Dr. Tavangar previously served in various operational and strategic positions with Novartis for 19 years. Most recently he was the Global Head of Strategic Planning at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, subsequent to being Head of Strategic Global Marketing at Novartis Vaccines. Previously, Dr. Tavangar was the Business Unit Head for Novartis Oncology in Australia. He also served as VP Finance for Novartis Pharmaceuticals USA, as well as Head of Investor Relations for Novartis Corporation USA. Dr. Tavangar received his AB in Molecular Biology from UC Berkeley, PhD in Physiology from Stanford University, and MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. Cerise Marcela, Senior Manager, CBRE
With a formal background in workplace research and design, Cerise advises leading organizations to develop mission-driven workplace strategies that align with the broader business objectives. Cerise’s collaborative and data-centric approach to workplace prioritize close alignment between business goals, real estate strategy, and the overall employee experience. Prior to joining CBRE, Cerise was a senior strategist and project manager in Gensler’s workplace consulting practice focusing on large scale corporate campus transformation projects across the northeast region, including Partners HealthCare and Reebok HQ relocation. Cerise supports clients through a full spectrum of workplace strategy advisory solutions, from benchmarking & trends, data analytics, programming, experience strategy, and through the change management process. In 2019, Cerise was recognized by Connect CRE Media as one of the Next Generation Honorees, recognizing young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come. Cerise currently serves as a committee member at CoreNet New England Real Advantage and Design Museum’s Workplace Innovation Think Tank. Cerise holds a bachelor and master’s degrees from Cornell University in Design + Environmental Analysis with a focus on human-centered design, real estate, workplace research, and health & well-being.
