June 17, 2019LifeSciHub, an online resource marketplace and community, designed for life sciences R&D, today announced that cofounder and CEO, Sheila Mahoney-Jewels will be presenting at multiple sessions at the 2019 Drug Information Association Annual Meeting in San Diego.

Ms. Mahoney will be presenting at the following sessions:

  • Wednesday, June 26, 2019 – 9:15 – 9:45 – Considering Consulting?  The Good, the Bad, the Ugly and the Profitable! Learn what’s really involved in becoming an independent consultant.

Sheila Mahoney-Jewels, cofounder and CEO of LifeSciHub commented, “In the LifeSciHub 2019 Independent Workforce Survey, consultants expressed a strong interest in connecting with other consultants, sharing ideas, learning from each other’s experiences and creating a community of support for independent workers in the Life Sciences industry. The DIA Annual Meeting sessions and our networking event are ways that LifeSciHub can recognize, contribute to and help connect that growing community.”  She went on to say, “setting realistic expectations about the consulting journey allows an FTE to make the decision to go independent with confidence, or, perhaps, stay as an FTE.  This is what we will explore.  Also, training on negotiation- this is directed to all attendees and is expected to be high impact.”

The 2019 DIA Annual Meeting is taking place June 23-27 at the San Diego Convention Center. Learn more or register for the DIA Annual Meeting here.
