The Future of Work in Pharma

LifeSciHub Enables Pharma to Embrace the Highest Quality Expertise: Small Business "MicroVendors"

NEW YORK, NY—LifeSciHub, the gig-economy online resource marketplace for life sciences R&D, announced today that they will be attending the Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) 2nd Annual “Collaboration in the Gig Economy” Conference. SIA is a global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions. Their research covers all categories of employed and non-employed work including temporary staffing, independent contracting and other types of contingent labor. The event, “Collaboration in the Gig Economy” will bring together players in the buyer community, the talent supply chain, academia, and the emerging gig-oriented or supportive online marketplaces and other vendors  to discuss the challenges and solutions related to the needs of the independent workforce as it relates to tech-enablement of this “gig economy”.

Traditionally, organizations have relied on complex supply chains and ecosystems to help them source and deploy talent. But the recent explosion of the tech-enabled gig economy across all sectors has provided an opportunity for far more granular “fit for purpose” solutions related to talent acquisition.

LifeSciHub Co-Founder S. Jewels said, “This conference will afford us the opportunity to better understand how the emergence of the gig economy is impacting hiring processes as business leaders recognize the value of being able to engage talent when and where it is needed.  We look forward to engaging top executives in the staffing industry to better understand trends and emerging requirements so we can incorporate these insights into our product development efforts, and bring these lessons learned from other verticals back to life sciences R&D.”

The conference is being held in Dallas, TX on September 13th and 14th.
