Based on the responses from a professional needs survey conducted by the Medical Writing (MW) Community in 2020 and given the extensive experience and expertise of many of our MW Community members, we are developing a Virtual Mentorship Program to assist junior/inexperienced medical writers. The aim of the Program is to match MW Mentors from the pharma industry with suitable Mentees within the Global DIA MW Community to provide Mentees with theopportunity to learn more about a career in MW, regardless of where they may be based in the world. More information about the Program is in the attached flyer.

To initiate this Virtual Mentorship Program we are looking for keen, experienced medical writers who would like to be a Mentor. We anticipate the majority of Mentors will likely meet virtually with their Mentee on a monthly or quarterly basis, depending on the needs of the Mentee, so we don’t anticipate an extensive time commitment from Mentors. Each minute of the valuable time you share with a Mentee will make a big difference for their future success!
