Conference highlights: Health Authorities such as FDA, MHRA and Health Canada weigh in on viability of Real World Evidence (RWE) for making drug and label approval decisions

November 14, 2019LifeSciHub, an online resource community marketplace designed for life sciences R&D, attended DIA’s Real World Evidence conference this week.

Sheila Mahoney, Founder and CEO of LifeSciHub commented, “Real World Evidence is not a trend in life sciences R&D, it is the nascent foundation for industry decision making 20 years from now. In an industry that is simultaneously both pressured and constrained to produce faster and with higher quality, it is imperative for LifeSciHub to represent and connect with the independent workforce and the sponsors that need them at cutting edge meetings of the minds such as these.”

While there, Sheila also spearheaded a “speed networking” event hosted by the DIA’s Diversity and Inclusion Community. “As a female-founded tech start up, LifeSciHub has an interest in diversity and promoting dialog around the topic of inclusion. LifeSciHub also promotes any opportunity for industry professionals to hone their networking skills, which are so critical to maintaining a healthy independent consulting practice. DIA is committed to promoting industry dialog around diversity and inclusion. This was a triple win!”
